- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★2017-05-24, by Gordon FindlayMy elderly mother's car was started by an AA patrol man who then said the car needed a new battery and proceeded to try to sell us one. After declining, I then visited ATS Gateshead to buy a new battery. However (without me asking) ATS did a test on the old battery and said it was in good condition and did not need replacing. ATS didn't make any money from us on this occasion, but what honest and excellent customer service! I would be very happy to take my custom there to make a purchase in future.
